Over time, the threads that hold your pearl necklaces and bracelets together may become worn, frayed or even damaged. At best, this may lead to your necklace or bracelets losing their initial fit, and at worse this could lead to the piece breaking altogether and having the pearls fall off.
If you have been experiencing this with your cherished pearl pieces, bring it into VENA NOVA to have the threads restrung. Our experts have over 40 years of experience working with pearl necklaces and bracelets, so you can be sure after our services they will fit like new.
I can't say enough about my experience with Vena Nova. I was able to get my now fiancé's dream ring for a surprisingly reasonable price, and the staff at Vena Nova was so patient with me along the whole process. I rarely write online reviews, but my experience with Vena Nova was so great, I felt the need to share it. Honestly, if you're looking for an engagement ring, I would highly suggest making Vena Nova your first stop.
Absolutely love my engagement ring from Vena Nova! My fiancé said they were an absolute pleasure to work with and we couldn’t be happier. Elaine provided incredible service and is always there when we need a cleaning! We would highly recommend Vena Nova.
Here are some of the most frequently asked questions regarding our pearl restringing services.
The frequency of restringing pearls really depends on how often you wear the piece in question.
The more a piece is worn, the sooner it will need to be restrung. Generally speaking, you will know when to restring your piece by the condition of it. Dirty or damaged knots, uneven gaps, or a sag in the piece are generally signs that tell a piece needs to be restrung
Most pearl restringing projects take a few days, if not up to a week. For a more accurate estimation of a timeframe, it's best to get in touch. Send us a message or give us a call for a complimentary consultation
Pearl knotting refers to including a knot between each pearl on a thread, when the piece is being strung. The reason this is done is twofold:
1. To prevent each pearl from rubbing against one another, causing scuffs and potential damage
2. To prevent all the pearls from coming loose, in the event of the string becoming broken
At VENA NOVA, our restringing process includes knotting, so you can be confident when wearing your newly strung peace.
